Over 520 students, amidst return of live on-site national or regional finals
The Dentsply Sirona Global Clinical Case Contest has been held since 2004/2005. The competition is aimed at dental students with less than two years of clinical practice. Participants document their successful treatment case in text and images and are supported by a tutor from their university.
This year over 520 students from around 73 dental schools took part in the competition, with the top three contestants being presented with an award. Some national rounds in this year’s GCCC managed to hold on-site national finals, such as France.
“We are delighted to see so many dedicated young people who aspire to provide the highest quality of dentistry to patients in need of a beautiful, restored smile. The Dentsply Sirona GCCC offers them a gateway to achieve this while also showcasing their accomplishments to most renowned specialists and institutions,” explained jury member Prof. Dr. Gaetano Paolone from Italy. “We cannot wait to see what next year’s pool of talents brings!”
