Want to know how a full suite of SciCan products functions in a real steri-center? How about in three different configurations? After all the dust and disruption of the last few months, SciCan in Canonsburg, PA, has completed the remodeling of its training center. And it is truly a multi-faceted hands-on learning space. Sure, the contemporary furniture and the state-of-the-art presentation hardware is nice but what makes this place unique are its three, fully-functioning steri-centers and one dental unit. 

Steri-centers from Planmeca, A-Dec, and Pelton & Crane line the perimeter and each is fitted with everything SciCan from STATIMs and BRAVOs to HYDRIMs (both large and small), VistaPure systems as well as STATClean ultrasonic and STATMATIC handpiece maintenance units. 

“It’s designed to showcase the SPEC (Safe, Predictable, Efficient, Compliant) sterilization and instrument reprocessing framework, all SciCan products, and how the G4 networking technology connects to it,” says Product Manager Stacey Graf. Two 60-inch flat screens display G4 cycle data from all connected STATIM G4’s and HYDRIM G4’s. SciCan technicians receive instant and accurate communication from the connected equipment allowing for the equipment to be remotely supported. 

Bringing learning as close to the real setting as possible will enable staff, sales representatives, technicians and dealers to better serve our users. Classes for 2017 will host approximately 200 trainees with 16 training classes scheduled.
