The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology (FDLT) is a nonprofit 501c (3) organization. The purpose of the FDLT is to advance the profession of dental laboratory technology by addressing industry-driven needs and providing solutions that are relevant and accessible to dental technicians and other members of the dental team.
Sterngold Dental is located in Attleboro, Massachusetts and is a leading source for restorative dentistry and a global leader in alloys, attachments, implants, and restorative systems. Sterngold has pledged $10,000 to the Foundation in both cash and product donations to help support the future of dental laboratory technology. With this donation, Sterngold and the Foundation have partnered to offer the 2015 Sterngold Grant.
The 2015 Sterngold Grant will award one school $1,250 in product donation. Products available through this grant include:
- QuickLineTM Long-Term Soft Relining Material
- SternTek® Duplicating Material
- SternTek® Custom Tray Material (blue or rose)
- SternTek® Base Plate Material (pink)
- InstaGums® Gingival Reproduction Material
In order to be eligible for this grant, the applicant must be an NADL Member Educational Institution. To apply, go to dentallabfoundation.org/news/index.cfm?#n1251. All applications must be received by the FOundation office by April 1, 2015 in order to be considered for the grant.
