Tallahassee, Florida - The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology on Tuesday announced Renata Budny, CDT, TE, of Brooklym, New York, as the winner of the 2015 Kois Center Education Grant.
The Kois Center, along with the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology, created this grant in order to support the Foundation’s purpose by making higher-level education more accessible. The winner will be awarded one seat in the Biomechanics I & II course at no charge, courtesy of the Kois Center.
“The grant selection process was extremely competitive with a number of high quality candidates. Criteria was based on submitted materials that included certification, education, experience, professional development activities and awards, as well as responses about the importance, interest, and impact winning the Kois Center Education Grant will have,” said Foundation Executive Director Bennett Napier, CAE.
“This grant would not be possible without the generosity of the Kois Center,” said Foundation Chair Leon Hermanides, CDT. “We are extremely thankful to be able to partner with the Kois Center to help support the education of dental laboratory technology professionals.”
