Achieving 25 million healthy smiles by 2025 is one of the central goals of Dentsply Sirona’s sustainability program “BEYOND: Taking Action for a Brighter World”. By continuing the successful partnership with TeamSmile for another two years, the Company is taking yet another step closer to reaching this goal.
Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, announced today that the company will continue their longstanding partnership with TeamSmile and support the non-profit organization with a donation of US$135,000, in addition, company employee volunteers at TeamSmile projects and events. This engagement will go towards providing underserved children with screenings and dental treatments at no charge as well as provide free oral health education resources. Dentsply Sirona will also be a GOLD Partner for two upcoming TeamSmile programs in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the company is headquartered, expecting to reach over 200 children per program.
Popular football players boost oral health for children in need
TeamSmile, in its mission to reach children who would otherwise not have or seek access to oral health, partners with professional sports teams. These popular athletes use their star power to motivate children to come forward and learn about the importance of oral health and receive treatment if needed.

Dentsply Sirona is GOLD Partner for two TeamSmile programs in Charlotte
Besides being also a National Partner for full partnership of TeamSmile, Dentsply Sirona will continue to support as a GOLD Partner two additional programs dedicated to children in need in Charlotte. These programs include free dental clinics at Bank of America Stadium, where children have the opportunity to meet football players from the Carolina Panthers while receiving vital dental care education and treatment.

In 2022 alone, TeamSmile provided approx. 4,500 children with oral health education and dental care services with a combined value exceeding 1.6 million USD.
