With the fall line-up comes the announcement of a new course topic added to this innovative CE platform. “Freehand Diastema Closure”, lead by Dr. Robert Margeas will be offered on September 17, 2019, October 2, 2019, and November 26, 2019. In this course, attendees will learn a step-by-step approach to treat midline diastemas without the use of wedges or a matrix system. Participants will learn practical knowledge that will simplify their practice and help them create natural-looking restorations without removing tooth structure. The original course “Mastering the Class IV Restoration”, also hosted by Dr. Robert Margeas, will be continuing in the fall with course dates scheduled for September 11, 2019, October 8, 2019, and November 13, 2019. Hands-OnLine LIVE is dentistry’s first live streamed hands-on continuing education events – in which dentists can participate in hands-on learning from the comfort of their own operatory. Offering 2 CE credits/hour, its fully interactive course structure provides participants with a wonderfully simple and seamless course experience.
After registering for a Hands-OnLine LIVE course, each participant will be sent a technique kit which includes a comprehensive technique guide, as well as a model, instruments, restorative materials and accessories to perform the hands-on exercise. On course day, each participant connects to the interactive Hands-OnLine LIVE site to participate and perform the exercise.
The courses provide all of the engaging features of an in-person workshop: the instructor will review cases and demonstrate each step of the technique live, then allow participants to perform each step utilizing the kit and materials provided. Fully interactive, during the course, participants can type questions directly to the Instructor.
In order to ensure an intimate learning environment, attendance for each course is limited, so clinicians should consider registering early to avoid disappointment. Tuition for Hands-OnLine LIVE includes access to the course, as well as the technique kit – which is required to complete the course.
