Last month the clinical teams from three Smile Generation®-trusted dental practices, Dentists of Westwood, Dentists at Hyde Park Plaza, and Springdale Modern Dentistry, participated in the Hyde Park Blast. Benefitting The Cure Starts Now, a non-profit organization committed to the fight against cancer, the dentists and members of their staff met with attendees where they spoke about their commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centric oral health care. The event, which included a 4 mile run/walk, cycling races, and a beer, wine and food festival, brought in over 15,000 Cincinnati residents.
“It was exciting to be a part of such a fantastic event that promotes healthcare in an active, family friendly setting,” said Dan Ritchey, D.M.D., who provides dentistry for patients at Springdale Modern Dentistry. “I’m proud to offer dental care to the greater Cincinnati area, and I’m grateful to have met so many future patients at the Hyde Park Blast event.”

The third, Springdale Modern Dentistry, is scheduled to open later this month. Co-founded by Hyde Park residents Cheryl Neiheisel and Chad Sims, the Hyde Park Blast began in 2001 as a way for the community to have fun, be active, and raise money in the fight against cancer. Since then, the event has raised over $600,000 for Cincinnati based charities.
