More kids will have a reason to smile thanks to MGE: Management Experts, Inc. The practice management training organization held a high-energy auction benefitting America’s ToothFairy during their recent Owner’s Conference in Tampa, Florida. The conference, which is held each year to honor the accomplishments of MGE’s clients, was attended by more than 300 participants of their executive training program.
“Our mission is to help our clients achieve their goals and lasting success in practice,” MGE CEO, Luis Colon remarked after the event. “We could not be more proud of the generosity that flows out from their success. We are so pleased to be able to help America’s ToothFairy, a wonderful organization that has made a remarkable difference in the lives of kids in need of dental care and education.”
“We were so honored when MGE offered to hold this fundraiser on our behalf and absolutely blown-away by the results,” said America’s ToothFairy Executive Director, Jill Malmgren. “We are thrilled to be able to help even more kids in need of urgent dental care, and are excited to apply a portion of the funds raised to our new Smile Guardian Education Initiative, which will teach thousands of children how to prevent the suffering that comes from dental disease. We are so incredibly grateful to MGE and their clients, who gave so generously and enthusiastically to help our great cause!”
Funds raised by the auction will be used to pay for the treatment of 30 children in need of urgent or restorative dental care through America’s ToothFairy’s In the Gap Program; distribute educational resource kits to nonprofit dental clinics, schools, and community organizations with the combined capacity to reach at least 10,000 children with oral health lessons; and award a grant to provide dental screenings and cleanings to a minimum of 2,000 children in need.
America’s ToothFairy Board of Directors member, Dr. Gordon Christensen held a seminar during the three-day conference and graciously posed for photos with hundreds of event attendees. “In all the years I have been involved with America’s ToothFairy, I have never seen people so motivated and inspired to make a difference,” he said. “We have been so energized by their generous spirit!”
