(November 19, 2015 - Charlotte, NC) – The America’s ToothFairy mission to save smiles just became a little easier thanks to a generous product donation from Heraeus Kulzer. Heraeus Kulzer’s donation totaled more than $302,000 and included intraoroal film, duplicating film and impression material. Heraeus Kulzer’s contribution will support the delivery of oral health education, preventive services, and treatment to vulnerable children and teens across the country through the America's ToothFairy Affiliate Network.

Since its founding in 2006, America’s ToothFairy has delivered more than $15 million in direct funding, donated dental products, equipment, and educational resources to its Affiliates. This Network is a collaborative alliance of university dental and dental hygiene programs, community clinics, school-based and mobile programs providing comprehensive oral health services to children and families in underserved communities. Affiliates benefiting from this donation include:

  • Kids’ Community Dental Clinic, Burbank, CA

  • The Children’s Dental Center, Inglewood, CA

  • Southern Illinois University Carbondale, IL

  • Howard University College of Dentistry, Washington, DC

  • Community Dental Services, Inc., Minneapolis, MN

  • Arroyo Vista Family Health Center, Los Angeles, CA

“Heraeus Kulzer is proud to support the mission of America’s ToothFairy and the vital work of their Affiliate Network,” said Christopher Holden, President, Heraeus Kulzer, LLC. “We are pleased to provide this donation to support the delivery of quality oral health services to children in need.”

“We are very grateful to Heraeus Kulzer for their generosity and commitment to children's oral health,” said Fern Ingber, America's ToothFairy President and CEO. “Thanks to this donation, our Affiliates will be better equipped to care for underserved children and families in their communities.”
