Updates on PPP loan forgiveness and Henry Schein’s special recovery pricing, plus the IDT Live Town Hall: Back to Work.
Welcome to another remote episode of IDT Weekly. I’m Jason Mazda, and here’s what’s new. The PPP loan forgiveness application was posted recently on sba.gov. It’s an 11-page document that includes the loan forgiveness calculation form, PPP Schedule A, PPP Schedule A worksheet, and the optional PPP borrower demographic information form. Those first two items must be submitted by all borrowers to their lenders. The application expires October 31. Henry Schein announced a Recovery Pricing Plan, with discounts of up to 18% off existing prices on thousands of products. The plan was developed in collaboration with more than 20 brands and supplier partners. Henry Schein executive Mark Hillebrandt says this is just one of the ways that the company is working to relieve the challenges facing dental professionals during the reopening process. Online this month at insidedentaltech.com, if you missed the IDT Live Town Hall: Giving Back a couple weeks ago, don’t worry—it’s now available online for free. We chatted for 2 hours with IDT board members from all over the country about how they are addressing the various challenges involved with reopening. Several of the board members commented that they themselves learned a lot during the discussion, so we hope you’ll check it out. Well, that’s it for this week. Everyone please stay safe and healthy, and join us again next time on IDT Weekly.
