About IDT's Product Talk
IDT is the complete information resource for the dental laboratory professional, and part of that is providing readers with the most up-to-date, useful information on the latest and most impactful products. Successful laboratories must be well informed on these products for many reasons, including the quality and efficiency of their own work as well as their ability to serve as a resource for dentist-clients. With this in mind, we are proud to present IDT's Product Talk, hosted by Editor-in-Chief Peter Pizzi, MDT, CDT. In each segment, Peter meets with a member of the advisory board to discuss that person’s experience using the product—benefits, applications, concerns, and more. As you watch these videos, we hope you can take away valuable information from the advisory board members’ real-life experiences as you make your own decisions regarding what products will be the best fit for your laboratory.
The Host
As an educator of dental technology and operatory procedures, Peter has found an easy transition into the lecture/clinician circuit. His personal appreciation and expertise on all phases of crown and bridge, porcelain, implantology, muscle function, mandibular physiology, ceramics, and photography have made him a source of knowledge and motivation for his peers. Peter lectures nationally and internationally to both technicians and dentists on proven ways to improve communication and collaboration to deliver more predictable and successful outcomes for the patient. He has been a technician since 1984 and operates Pizzi Dental Studio Inc. in New York. He is a member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry as well as a graduate, recognized specialist, and mentor of The Kois Center for Dental Excellence. He holds numerous executive board and faculty positions and is Editor-in-Chief of Inside Dental Technology. He continually studies with some of the world’s top speakers and clinicians.
