AAWD’s Annual Meeting and Conference
Held every year, this is the only annual woman’s dental conference in the United States.
Scholarships & Awards
Procter & Gamble Research Award for Post-Doctoral Students
The Procter & Gamble Research Scholarship Award is presented to a post-doctoral dental resident who has shown academic distinction and demonstration of excellence in research related to women’s health or women’s oral health.
Colgate Research Scholarship
Established in 1980, this monetary award salutes and encourages students to excel in the field of research. This award is presented to Junior and/or Senior dental students who have shown academic distinction and demonstration of excellence in research.
Gillette Hayden Memorial Fund (Loan Program)
Named after one of AAWD’s founding members, this fund offers scholarship loans to Senior dental students.
Lucy Hobbs Taylor/“Woman Dentist of the Year” Award
This annual award honors an AAWD member who has made outstanding individual achievements in civic, cultural, academic, and professional areas and exhibits the qualities of a role model.
