Copalite Varnish is applied as an insulating layer under gold and amalgam restorations. Proprietary solvents in the varnish have both antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Copalite contains a numbing ingredient to stop pain, easily seeps into open dental tubules, and prevents transfer of heat and cold or beverage to dentin and pulp.
