One of BISCO’s five core values is to promote knowledge to benefit the industry. This core value joins the other four that drive BISCO’s success today: science-based product innovation, highest standards for our products, respect for others, and integrity. Since 1999, the promotion of knowledge has been accomplished through the BISCO Institute by sponsoring lectures provided by the industry’s leading experts.

Practical, High-QualityEducation

The BISCO Institute is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider of educational and clinical training programs. BISCO Institute courses deliver current and objective information to dental professionals so they can provide the highest level of dental care for their patients. The BISCO Institute provides courses to as many as 80 participants up to four times per year at BISCO’s worldwide corporate headquarters, which is located in Schaumburg, Illinois, in the greater Chicago area. The onsite 2,000–square foot auditorium provides space for both lectures and hands-on presentations. In addition, it contains a functional laboratory and dental operatory for live patient demonstrations. Previous offsite courses have been held in Hawaii, Florida, and at local laboratories.

The BISCO Institute was created to provide education on many topics. As a company BISCO specializes in restorative dentistry; however, the BISCO Institute provides diverse course selections with topics ranging from endodontics, esthetics, surgery, and operative/restorative dentistry to practice management, photography, ceramics, and much more. Courses can also be custom-tailored to meet the needs of the audience, including hosting study club meetings and/or local dental offices. Although the educational offerings are top-notch and the facilities are state of the art, the BISCO Institute, keeps the average cost of each course at an extremely affordable price. The course tuition includes food and beverages to help participants minimize expenses.
