Cadent iTero™ Digital Impression System to Make New York Debut at GNYDM
After more than 3 years of rigorous clinical testing and over 2,000 restorations successfully inserted, Cadent, Ltd, is excited to announce that the Cadent iTero Digital Impression System will be introduced in the New York area at the Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM) in November. iTero is an integrated, digital impression system for dental professionals. Designed to replace the uncomfortable and imprecise method of conventional impression taking, iTero offers significant benefits to dentists, patients, and laboratories.
iTero, powered by proprietary imaging technology, enables the dentist to take a 3-dimensional (3-D) digital scan of a patient’s mouth, make adjustments, and then transmit an electronic file to the laboratory where a final restoration is crafted with unprecedented precision and accuracy.
“Anyone who has ever had crown or bridge work done will appreciate the significance of making traditional trays and materials obsolete,” said Tim Mack, VP & General Manager for Cadent. “iTero simply and elegantly captures a highly detailed, 3-D scan of the patient’s mouth which is displayed real-time while the patient is still in the chair. Dentists laud the visibility iTero offers them.” Cadent will be offering hands-on demonstrations of iTero at Booth #4223 at the GNYDM at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, November 26?29, 2006, during normal show hours. Dental practitioners are invited to stop by and sample the technology. “We expect iTero to become the standard of care in the dental industry and that iTero will make a lasting first impression,” adds Mack. Brasseler USA Conducts 2006 International Sales Conference
The Hyatt Regency, Lake Las Vegas Resort was the site for Brasseler USA’s 2006 International Sales Conference, “Making Each Other Successful,” held from June 22nd to June 25th.
Brasseler USA has been one of the fastest growing companies in the dental industry during the past 3 years, resulting in significant expansion in the number of field sales and support personnel throughout North America during that time. Accordingly, the 3-day conference began with a welcome patio reception during which the Brasseler USA field sales personnel from the Dental and Medical segments and Savannah-based headquarters had the opportunity to meet new team members as well as reconnect with long-time colleagues. After the reception and dinner, president and CEO Don Waters welcomed attendees, congratulated them on the success of the business, and reviewed the significant progress Brasseler USA has experienced.
The 2006 conference included the presentation of a new Brasseler USA corporate video, “Proud Heritage...Promising Future,” which reviewed the company’s establishment in 1976 and its evolution from a manufacturer of diamond and carbide cutting instruments, designed according to the detailed specifications of its late founder, Peter Brasseler II, to its market-leading position today. With extensive product ranges in rotary cutting instruments, polishers, handpieces, and related dental power systems, endodontics, preventative care, oral surgery, dental laboratory, and medical orthopedic power systems and cutting instruments, Brasseler USA in 2006 is the largest provider of branded dental instrumentation in North America.
The conference also included significant time devoted to training sessions on sales processes, territory management, new products and programs, teamwork, and regional sales planning.
The conference concluded with the 2006 sales awards ceremony and presentations by Matt Whelan, vice president of marketing and sales, and Don Waters on the future strategic direction of Brasseler USA.
