Updates on Preat Corporation and Dentsply Sirona World, plus an article on clinical trends and the IDT International Digital Denture Symposium webinar series (https://cdeworld.com/events/site/idds/library/).
Welcome to IDT Weekly! I’m Jason Mazda, and here’s what’s new. Preat Corporation was acquired by Young Innovations, a global supplier of dental products. Preat President Chris Bormes will continue to lead the business, and he says Young provides an opportunity to supercharge their growth while maintaining the same level of service. He says Preat’s foundation aligns closely with Young, and that their core values and commitment to innovation and service won’t change. Keating Dental Arts announced a new name – Keating Dental Lab – and an accompanying tagline: You Can Count on Keating. The company also unveiled a new logo. President and Founder Shaun Keating says it’s all part of continually evolving with the times, and being at the forefront of innovation. This month in IDT, our cover story explores statistics from a survey of the readership of our sister publication, Inside Dentistry. They asked dentists about everything from the materials and technologies they use to what they look for in laboratories and what levels of collaboration they prefer. We hope you’ll find it useful in understanding your client base. Online this month, the IDT International Digital Denture Symposium webinar series continues tonight at 7 with Conrad Rensburg presenting “Technology-Driven Dentures from A to Z.” To register for free or browse the rest of the live and on-demand webinars in the series, go to idds.cdeworld.com and click the Workshops tab. Well, that’s it for this week. Everyone please stay safe and healthy, and join us again next time on IDT Weekly.
