Posted on Friday, June 14, 2024

Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC) leaders are presenting on major industry trends during the 2024 Association of Dental Support Organization’s (ADSO) Annual Summit, helping Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) integrate clinical workflow using innovative technology, successfully generate increased case acceptance, and elevate business operations.

The 2024 ADSO Annual Summit is taking place June 12-14 in Denver, Colorado.

The program yesterday kicked off with Samantha Glucksman, Director, Strategic Accounts, who shared comments about Henry Schein’s valued partnership with the ADSO and introduced Stanley M. Bergman, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Henry Schein, who delivered an overview of the macro trends affecting the world and business generally, how these trends impact the oral health profession and industry, and what DSOs can do to navigate this challenging but exciting time.

“We are so pleased to engage with members of the DSO community at the ADSO Annual Summit, fostering relationships and collaboration that drive innovation and progress within the dental profession,” said Mr. Bergman. “This Summit provides a unique platform to discuss significant trends that impact society at large, which of course affects dentistry. We extend our gratitude to the ADSO for hosting this important event each year, and honored once again to be the title sponsor.”

Mr. Bergman shared an optimistic view of the dental market amid a health care ecosystem that is experiencing expanded access to care, a growing understanding of the connection between oral health and overall health, and an increased emphasis on dental and medical integration as well as preventive care. He noted that demographic changes have contributed to a significant increase in female practitioners and greater diversity in the health care professions, while technological advances, including artificial intelligence, are helping to enhance patient care.

Recognizing the important technological advancements in dentistry, Chris Pendergast, Chief Technology Officer of Henry Schein, together with Kenton McDaniel, Chief Information Security Officer, of Henry Schein One, also took the stage to discuss cybersecurity solutions for DSOs. Ali Hyatt, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, Henry Schein One, addressed harnessing technology to optimize DSO marketing, while Alan Rencher, Chief Technology Officer, Henry Schein One, led a session on implementing IT security solutions. Steven Maroulis, Vice President and General Manager of Analytics and Patient Experience for Henry Schein One, presented on data-driven dentistry.

ADSO Summit attendees also learned about Henry Schein’s leading cutting-edge specialty products and services, as well as the latest technology to help DSOs generate growth and elevate business operations.
