Integration Helps Eliminate Human Error and Enhances the Digital Workflow with Automation Tools
Henry Schein One, a joint venture of Henry Schein Inc., announced today the availability of the Dentrix® Smart Image connector for DEXIS™. This integration will enable oral health professionals to further automate their practice management with DEXIS software tightly woven into Dentrix workflows.
Dentrix Smart Image adds new levels of connectivity between Dentrix practice management software and DEXIS imaging software with automation to improve practice efficiency. Dentrix users acquire images and tag them with CDT codes to support proper tracking and reimbursement. Dentrix Smart Image automatically posts each imaging procedure; to the ledger for payment, to the patient’s continuing care dates for future eligibility, and to progress notes for audit assurance.

Dentrix Smart Image also gives practices support to help elevate their clinical care, by allowing providers to easily access images from DEXIS, and other Smart Image partners, from the Dentrix patient chart, with the ability to compare up to four images side-by-side for a fast and accurate diagnosis.
