IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 400 Smile Generation-trusted dental offices served their local communities onAugust 22, 2015 by participating in the fifth annual Smile Generation Serve Day. The clinicians and their dental care teams served 2,100 community members who would not otherwise have access to dental care, providing more than $3.7 million in donated dentistry.
The dental offices teamed up with local organizations and community partners, such as youth centers, nonprofit organizations and churches, to identify individuals that were in need of basic dental care.

Patients received everything from cleanings, exams, and digital X-rays to extractions, implants and restorations. Smile Generation Serve Day was supported in part by Henry Schein® Dental. Henry Schein is the largest provider of health care products and services to office-based practitioners.
