One of pritidenta’s most recent product launches, the priti®multidisc ZrO2 multicolor, is a great example of how production efficiencies and esthetics are no longer mutually exclusive; they can be combined to produce excellent results in both quality and cost.
priti®multidisc ZrO2 multicolor is a multilayered zirconia material available in seven color gradations, each with a balanced color profile, plus one bleach shade. This allows for the natural tooth structure to be adjusted ideally in all 16 VITA® classical shades and 3D MASTER® shades. For example, the priti®multidisc ZrO2 blank in “A light” offers a color composition which allows the laboratory to achieve A1, A2, and A3, all with just one disc. If the restoration is positioned in the middle, the color corresponds to A2 or 2M2. Positioned further up in the blank, it is brighter, and the restoration matches the colors of A1, 2M1, 1M2, and 2R1.5. At the bottom of the blank, it corresponds to A3 or 3M2. Depending on the height of the restoration, a precise positioning and color assignment can be made according to the height of the disc. Finally, a well thought-out shade concept allows the coverage of all VITA® classical and 3D MASTER® shades with just seven discs. This effectively reduces inventory costs and overhead.
priti®multidisc ZrO2 multicolor comes in
98.5-mm discs with heights of 14 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, and 25 mm, as well as in blocks. All pritidenta milling materials are engineered and manufactured in Germany.
To facilitate the determination of the tooth shade, pritidenta has developed the MPGuide (Multicolor Positioning Guide). For each variant of priti®multidisc ZrO2 multicolor, the MPGuide displays the shades that can be achieved by top, middle, and bottom positioning of the restoration in the blank.
