First Digital Denture Symposium
Thought leaders, manufacturers, and dental professionals from around the world will come together this fall to participate in the first-ever symposium focused on the latest advancements in the digital production of removable prosthetics. Held September 23-24 at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, the day-and-a-half international symposium, Digital Dentures: How to Make an Educated Decision, hosted by AvaDent Digital Dental Solutions, promises to deliver a unique business leadership opportunity to learn first-hand the latest digital denture solutions from new technologies and material advancements to business-related issues. Geared for all members of the dental team, the diverse educational program will include CE-accredited lectures and workshops that cover all aspects of this new frontier in digital dentistry, led by highly respected professionals from the global university and manufacturing communities as well as dental practices and dental laboratories.
The impressive lineup of distinguished international presenters offering insight on their clinical and technical experiences includes: Thomas Balshi, DDS, PhD, FACP, and Stephen Balshi, MBE, discussing how dentist and technician communication is key to driving successful digital denture outcomes; Professor Martin Schimmel, DMD, providing the latest information on digital removable overdentures and digital fixed hybrids; and Sundeep Rawal, DMD, on using AvaDent solutions in conjunction with Nobel Biocare synergies for successful case outcomes.
Technical workshops for laboratory owners and managers include digital bar workflow presented by Robert van der Meer, Co-Founder and Manager Director of Supra Solutions BV, and Brent Thompson, Director of Systems Engineering for AvaDent; manufacturing solutions by Rik Jacobs, CEO of Vertex-DentalBV and NextDent, and Mike van der Willigen Gatsonides, Senior Sales Manager for Datron AG; in-sourcing versus outsourcing presented by Jan Slor, EVP/General Manager of AvaDent; and a panel discussion led by Robert Kreyer, CDT, Director of Manufacturing at AvaDent.
