As we embark on another new year, we at Inside Dental Hygiene like to remind ourselves of the journal's mission: IDH is the complete resource for the dental hygiene profession, supporting dental hygienists' commitment to optimal care, continuing education, regulatory compliance, positive career choices, and a healthy lifestyle. At a time when dental hygienists are among the most sought-after professionals in today's competitive job market, our cover story aims to elaborate on some of those ideals and explore how others across the profession are going about prioritizing and attaining them. Our goal is to help you better understand what is available to you as you leverage your skills and experience, whether it is with your current practice(s) or new ones.
