Angie Stone, RDH, BS

While she was practicing dental hygiene, Angie Stone, RDH, BS, witnessed a dramatic decline in the oral health (and ultimately the overall health) of two of her family members after they entered care facilities. Stone knew that this was completely preventable. After years of research, she created the HyLife Oral Health Alliance (hylifeoha.com). Families contract with HyLife to keep elders dentally healthy through visiting preventive care services for seniors in assisted living, memory care, or nursing homes. Visits can also improve elders' overall well-being.

Stone is also an accomplished lecturer and the author of many  publications, including her book, Dying from Dirty Teeth. For dental hygienists interested in serving our seniors, Stone's program offers opportunities in any state. She and her current team bring over 500 years of collective experience to those they serve.
