Use of Tuberosity Tissue Block for Tunneling Reconstruction of Class III Sockets With Simultaneous Implant Placement: A Case Report
Ramon Gomez-Meda, DDS; Jonathan Esquivel, DDS; and Markus B. Blatz, DMD, PhD
This case report article describes a technique that avoids raising flaps and through which a hard- and soft-tissue block is harvested in a minimally invasive manner that prevents compromise of the bone volume of the donor site while preserving the vascularization of the recipient site. In addition, this technique allows a class III alveolus to be reconstructed in a single appointment.
