CE: Mesh Ridge Augmentation Using CAD/CAM Technology for Design and Printing: Two Case Reports
Maarten J. Boogaard, DMD; Fausto Santoro, DDS; and Georgios E. Romanos, DDS, PhD, Prof Dr med dent
The use of guided bone regeneration to achieve a stable peri-implant bone foundation has been shown to be a highly predictable and successful treatment in dental implantology. A variety of methods have been described in the literature to obtain this objective, including the use of titanium mesh. In this report of two patient cases, CAD-designed and CAM-manufactured custom-made titanium meshes were used in the rebuilding of lost hard tissues.
