A Great Way to Reduce Overhead and Attract Patients

Marco Pinto, DMD, on the ClearCorrect® aligner system

With so many options for clear aligners, the quest to find an efficient system at a reasonable price may seem overwhelming. As a faculty member of the orthodontic residency program at the A.T. Still University College of Dentistry, I had the opportunity to explore several systems, and I found that ClearCorrect® aligners were the best option for several reasons.

The first is reduced overhead. ClearCorrect aligners offer a more affordable option for patients than many of the long-standing systems without compromising the quality and efficiency of treatment. This means that practitioners can offer their patients a lower price point, which can improve treatment acceptance among existing patients as well as attract more new patients to their practices.

Another benefit of the ClearCorrect aligner system is less time in the office for the doctor and patients. ClearCorrect aligners work well with all dental monitoring platforms. Using their smart phones, patients can periodically document their progress, so they only need to come into the office for critical visits. This means that the office can accommodate more patients in a day with less employees. Moreover, patients love that they do not have to come to the office as many times. The younger patients don't have to miss as many classes or other activities, and adult patients and parents don't have to miss as much work. The information provided to clinicians by remote monitoring systems is extremely valuable. Looking at weekly or bimonthly images allows them to treat each case in the most efficient way possible.

ClearCorrect aligners are a much less noticeable and more discrete option than other clear aligners. This is especially important for adults who want to straighten their teeth but don't want to draw attention to the fact that they are undergoing orthodontic treatment. The ClearQuartz material is so clear that it is not as noticeable as the plastics used by other systems, which in many cases can be seen due the presence of fine lines or the way that they reflect light.

The flexible plastic used to fabricate ClearCorrect aligners has three layers; therefore, they are also more durable when compared with other systems. This makes them a great option for people with sensitive teeth because the vectors of force are light and consistent. The layered plastic is also very resilient and hard to tear—even with the use of heavy elastics.

In addition to the benefits conferred by the aligners themselves, ClearCorrect also offers great support. Their representatives and technicians are always available and ready to help with any aspect of the treatment. They also provide marketing materials to help clinicians promote the treatment and inform potential patients.

ClearCorrect aligners are more affordable, less time-consuming, and more discreet than those of many other systems. If you are looking for a way to reduce overhead and attract new patients to your orthodontic practice while delivering excellent results, they are a great option to consider.
